Eat Well, Eat Healthily

Our prepared meals here are largely hand made, additive-free, and simply quick frozen. The myth that 'Fresh is Best' ignores the fact that fresh food needs to be consumed very quickly or preserved. Blast-freezing preserves without additives. 

So we agree that, to be healthy you must eat:

  • more fruit and veg
  • more starchy foods such as rice, bread, pasta (try to choose wholegrain varieties when you can) and potatoes
  • less fat, salt and sugar
  • some protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs and pulses
It's also important to eat a variety of foods to make sure we get all the nutrients our bodies need.
