Arbroath Smokie Fillets, freshly mashed Maris Pipers, richly flavoured with naturally smoked Scottish haddock and smoked Cheddar together with shallots and chives, these fishcakes are hand finished for a home made appearance.
Serve with tangy salad.

Handling instructions
 FROM FROZEN: Remove required number from outer packaging and place on a lightly greased baking tray in a preheated oven at 200°C for 26-28 minutes. Alterantively cooking from defrosted reduce the cooking to 18-20 minutes. This is a raw product. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout. THIS PRODCUT IS SUITABLE FOR OVEN COOK ONLY.

On doing my R & D, I came to try these out, with a friend. With sneery grimaces, we both thought that an Arbroath Smokie should not be tampered with, and that they looked a bit small. But they seemed to grow in the oven, and browned off to a gorgeous colour. The taste was sublime, and having one as a starter is quite generous. Five stars for these. Ian Johnson.
